Balancing philosophy and business, Kevin is laying the foundation for distributing the idea of Listen Love Lead. Each business is directly connected to this philosophical foundation and is necessary for its realization. Kevin’s role in the company is to create, communicate and empower. He brings experience in finance, marketing, economics, and education. His strength is creating and implementing business strategy.

The History
Listen Love Lead as a concept was born over a conversation between Janna Isings, Shamus Strapp, and Kevin Jenson at Cedaville University in 2011. It was initially designed as a business process that could be applied by entrepreneurs in developing countries. Although the initial vision was never fully developed it became the starting point for a new kind of approach to transformational leadership in business, education, and the non-profit world.
In 2012 Listen Love Lead Companies took on several projects including local marketing services for social entrepreneurs located abroad and the exploration of technology similar to Instapaper that would provide a clean web browsing experience.
2013 saw the move into publishing, event services, and web design with Charles Heyworth (Matchbook Publications) and The Bonfire!
2014 began strategic marketing and business development consulting services for various start-ups, small business, and non-profits including Snow by CALM.
2015 began to build on the August Collegium concept to design a new theory of education called "Human-Centered Learning"
From 2016 - 2018 my work focused on two start-up education programs. The first focused on the liberal arts and the second on developing a model of learning through apprenticeship.
Then I mostly left the business world from 2019-2021 while I finished a PhD in education.
